Everything in Dispono is computed from a small set of inputs. Getting those right first - your currency, birth date and a first income and budget line - is what makes every later screen meaningful.

Profile: currency and birth date
Your currency is used for every amount you enter or see - there's no per-item currency conversion, so pick the one you actually budget in. Your birth date drives every age-dependent calculation: the wealth-multiple benchmark, the retirement-age default, and how far into the future Cashflow and Insights project. Without it, age-based measures show as unavailable rather than guess.
Get Started: your first plan in three fields
New accounts land on a short setup screen (reachable again any time from Home while your plan is empty) that asks for just three things: your currency, one monthly cost-of-living figure, and one salary amount. From that, Dispono creates:
- A salary income stream running to age 67.
- A follow-on income stream from age 67, at 40% of that salary, standing in for a pension or state benefit.
- A cost-of-living budget item for the figure you entered.
This is a starting sketch, not a finished plan - every one of those entries is fully editable afterward on the Income and Budget panels. The point is to get real numbers flowing through Cashflow and Insights on day one, rather than staring at an empty dashboard.
What to do next
Add every other income source and budget line you actually have, then move to the Investment hub to enter accounts, holdings, debts and your target allocation. Only once income, spending and holdings are in place do Cashflow, Insights and Scenarios have enough to work with.
